JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police are investigating a case involving a missing person.

"The situation is under investigation," said JPD Spokesperson Officer Colendula Green.

WLBT received a post from a Facebook viewer, which included a poster of 30-year-old Matt Minor of Canton.

Minor was last seen in Canton on Friday, January 3, shortly before 8:30 a.m.

The poster describes Minor as a Caucasian male, standing 5'4" tall and weighing 175 pounds.

Minor, on the poster, is described as having hazel eyes and black hair.

The vehicle Minor may be driving or was last seen driving is described as a silver 2003 Pontiac Grand Am, with a license number of MAH906. The vehicle is said to have a dent in the driver's side door.

The poster describing Minor's disappearance said he works in the Lakeland Drive area of Jackson.
