Woman shot in the face in South Richmond

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond Police are investigating a possibly domestic related shooting on the Southside.

Officers tell us just before 3:00 a.m. Sunday a woman in her mid 40s was shot once in the face near the 4500 block of Millenbeck Road. She was transported to Chippenham Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police tell us they do have a suspect and believe the two parties knew each other. No word on an arrest at this time.
