Twenty-year-old Rodriquez Lyons, 23-year-old Tierre Hill and 17-year-old Kenjarvis Thomas made their initial appearances in Warren county Tuesday. They are facing two counts of attempted murder, two counts of armed robbery and burglary in the home invasion of an elderly couple last Tuesday.
The man and women were each shot in the head during the ordeal, but they both survived.
"We feel like we have the only people that were involved in this," said Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace. "We made the three arrests. We don't see any indication at this time there was anyone else."
In court, county attorneys said the three saw the couple leaving a casino, and followed them to their home. Weapons, a TV and a small amount of cash were taken.
Investigators say the three charged were driving in a suspicious manner through the parking lot which led authorities to them.
In court, Tierre Hill told the judge he was only guilty of burglary.
The judge cut him off and said he needed to wait until he had an attorney before he made any statements.
All three are being held without bond. Their cases will be presented to the next grand jury, which meets in May.
