Cosmetic injection death - - Jackson, MS

Testimony begins in cosmetic injection death trial

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Opening arguments began Wednesday in a case involving lethal injections of alleged silicon. Defense attorneys said the defendant received the same type of silicon injections 10 times before by the same Jackson woman.

Adult entertainer Natasha Stewart from Memphis, showed no emotion.

Prosecutors from the state Attorney General's office claim Stewart was the common denominator in the shocking case of greed.

They say Stewart referred the victim to Tracy Garner for buttocks injections.

During testimony Wednesday, it was revealed that Garner was not a nurse and had no medical training.  She was a cook at a local Nursing and Rehab center.

The redheaded stripper allegedly charged a referral fee of $200.00 for the connection.

Stewart claims she is innocent.
