New site and mobile app launched to help Miss. job seekers

Gov. Phil Bryant announced the first-of-its-kind interactive resource that pairs employers and job seekers through both a web site and a mobile application he talked about in his 2014 State of the State Address.

The Mississippi Supreme Court will consider Tuesday arguments in a dispute between a Wilkinson County couple and ExxonMobil Corporation over an alleged alligator infestation.

Also, the U.S. stock market had its worst day in more than seven months, and the Dow Jones industrial average plunged more than 320 points, as reports of sluggish U.S. growth added to worries about the global economy.
