An American Girl store is coming soon to CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin.
The 9,000-square-foot store will be built at the south end of the center and is expected to open by spring 2015.
The store will sell all of the company's popular historical and contemporary dolls, along with accessories and doll outfits as well as the American Girl books.
There will also be a 25-seat bistro where visitors can enjoy a meal or even celebrate a birthday.
The store will have a hair salon for dolls and a boutique where visitors can design doll-sized T-shirts.
"As a leader in experiential retail, American Girl has found a great partner in CoolSprings Galleria, a well-established premium shopping center with an upscale mix of stores and restaurants. It's an ideal location to introduce American Girl to the area and we look forward to opening our doors in spring 2015," said Wade Opland, American Girl's vice president of retail, in a news release.
The first American Girl flagship store opened in Chicago in 1998, and the company now has 16 retail locations.
