Brandon pastor free on bond after charges of identity theft

Back to icy cold in the Jackson metro area on this "hump day" Wednesday afternoon. I'm Howard Ballou with a look at some of the news stories you will see on WLBT.

A Brandon pastor, 53-year-old Leonard Boddie, is free on bond after being arrested and charged last week with identity theft.

Plus, a man is dead following a two vehicle accident on Highway 3, south of Yazoo City.

Also, the Rankin County School district releases a statement on the departure of Richland High English teacher Mary Porter.

And in Attala County, charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in connection with the murder of 67-year-old Tony Blankenship.

In sports, signing day is here. Find out who went where.

Overcast and 36 degrees but it feels like 28 and did someone say snow? Be sure to watch your full First Alert Forecast.
