MS Board of Education votes to abolish Scott County School District

The Mississippi Board of Education has voted to abolish the Scott County School District and to ask the governor to declare an emergency in Scott County.

Public Safety Commissioner Albert Santa Cruz has named Sam Owens as Interim Director of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN).

And, Jackson Police were called to the scene of a stabbing at a motel.
