State Moves To Take Over Scott County Schools

Good evening this is Maggie Wade with a look at some of the stories we'll have for you tonight after the Olympics at 10 on WLBT!

The Mississippi Board of Education has voted to abolish the Scott County School District.  That would mean the school board and superintendent would be out.  The board also wants  the governor to declare a State of Emergency.

An Ole Miss student is now the suspect in an armed robbery in Jackson. A warrant has been issued for his arrest!

A Brandon woman accused of trying to kill her ex-husband in Warren County in a drive by shooting is headed to trial!
