Here we go again with a wintry mix threatening the Jackson metro area this Monday afternoon. I'm Howard Ballou with a look at some of the news stories you will see on WLBT.

The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) reports the state's first human case of West Nile virus (WNV) for 2014. The reported case is in Hinds County.

And, the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson has been surveying land on campus for expansion; in the process, discovering there may be as many as 2,000 century-old graves underneath the soil.
