Morning accident caused shut down of Hwy 43 Rankin Co.

JPD SWAT, FBI and Hinds County Sheriff's deputies are surrounding a southwest Jackson house where double murder suspect Melvin Cortes Gibson is believed to be holed up.

Mississippi legislators passed House Bill 1400, prohibiting an abortion after 20 weeks. The bill passed with no amendments 89-22.

And, a 43-year-old man once considered one of South Mississippi's most-wanted criminal suspects is on the run again and he could be in the Jackson area.
