JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police have a suspect in custody for the deadly shooting at the Exxon gas station at Bailey Avenue and Woodrow Wilson. The shooting occurred shortly after 9 p.m.

Upon officers' arrival, they discovered the victim deceased from gunshot wounds.

Preliminary investigation reveals that there was a verbal exchange between the victim and suspect. During that time, the suspect displayed a weapon and fired several shots, striking the victim.

The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Kanisky Lacey.

The suspect, 28-year-old Lincoln Dille, was taken into custody on scene. He has been charged with Murder.

According to family members of the victim, a love triangle might have been what lead to the deadly gunfire.
