Warren Co. teens arrested on rape and burglary charges

WARREN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Vicksburg Police have arrested three teenagers in a rape and burglary investigation.

According to a press release from Vicksburg Police, on February 16, 2014 at 6:30 a.m. police were called to the 2200 block of Drummond Street regarding a reported rape.

According to the alleged victim and her roommate, a male subject was invited into the residence after a night out.

The male subject arrived at the residence with two other male subjects. After the suspects left the residence, one of the subjects reportedly returned and forced entry into the residence to retrieve property.

 The rape victim was transported to River Region Medical Center by ambulance.

All suspects were taken into custody on February 19, at approximately 5 p.m. in Port Gibson.

The three arrested have been identified as Shaquille Williams, 19, Michael Duncan, 18, and Treymane Anderson, 19, all of Port Gibson. 

Duncan and Anderson are both charged with rape and Williams with burglary.

All arrested are expected to appear in Vicksburg Municipal Court Thursday.
