READING, Mass., Feb. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Donato Tramuto, the Chairman and CEO of Physicians Interactive (PI) and Founder of Health eVillages, will share his insights on the challenges in global healthcare at HIMSS 2014.

This session is part of the Nursing Informatics: Advancing Innovation, Impacting Outcomes pre-conference symposium being held in the Rosen Center at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
This session will explore how Health eVillages is embracing health IT and informatics principles to deliver better health to a global community. "I am excited to share the podium with Dr. Milton Ochieng at HIMSS this year," said Tramuto. "Caregivers around the globe using mobile devices and apps from Health eVillages have treated tens of thousands of patients in Kenya, Uganda, Haiti and rural Louisiana. It is our belief that access to quality healthcare is an essential human right, and that is what we our doing in Lwala with our technology and the new maternity clinic.
