JULIA'S FORECAST: Quiet & seasonable work week start

Posted: Updated:
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Good morning!

We're off to a decent start to the work week. Highs today will make it into the mid 60s, and we're expecting sky conditions to feature a mix of sun and clouds. No major weather issues are anticipated as we continue to see similar conditions through the majority of Tuesday.

Tuesday evening will bring about the next chance for rain showers. Especially as we head through the overnight, we can expect some scattered rain and possibly even a thunderstorm. Showers will be around through Wednesday morning, tapering as we head into the afternoon.

Cooler conditions will be with us briefly on Wednesday and Thursday (highs in the upper 40s to mid 50s) before we rebound for the end of the work week.
