Wellness Wednesday: Eat more fruits and veggies!

During this week's Wellness Wednesday Challenge we challenge you to eat more fruits and vegetables. Fruits and veggies reduce your risk of heart disease, obesity, Type 2 Diabetes and some cancers.

You can enjoy your fruits and veggies. Dietician Rebecca Turner shared her Tropical Smoothie recipe below!

Tropical Smoothie

One cup Greek Yogurt- lemon flavored

Handful of fresh spinach

½ cup of pineapple chunks (fresh, frozen or canned)

Add about ¼ pineapple juice

½ banana (fresh or frozen)

1 Tbsp. ground flax seeds (optional)

No ice required.

Blend till smooth. Serve immediately.
