RIDGELAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Larry Armstrong, the Siwell Middle School principal arrested for DUI in Ridgeland earlier this week, will be pleading "Not Guilty."

"We have a difference of opinion about what really occurred that led to Mr. Larry Armstrong being accused of driving under the influence earlier this week," said his attorney Lance MIxon in a statement. "He will plead Not Guilty, and we look forward to our opportunity for justice in the court system."

Forty-two year old Armstrong is charged with DUI and careless driving.
