Hope for Myra

Good Wednesday morning from MSNewsNow's Brandon Artiles!

It's currently 62 degrees and while it's damp outside, meteorologist Julia Weiden says the bigger factor today will be the wind. She'll help us get prepared for the day's weather in her First Alert Forecast.

Happening now, those hoping for the safe return of missing toddler Myra Lewis received some encouraging news yesterday as three people told police in Memphis that they saw the little girl at a Tennessee motel. Coming up in the AM Report, we'll let you know what that means for investigators as they move forward this morning.

Plus, Tuesday proved to be a big day for candidates vying to be the next leader of the Capital City. The field has grown wider and the list of mayoral candidates now stands at seven.  Katina Rankin and I will rundown the list of the men and women who will be on the ballot on April 8.

Those stories and much more are heading your way at the top of the hour.

Please join us from 5 to 7 and Mississippi News Now continues on Fox 40 from 7 to 9.

Have a great Wednesday!
