CLINTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) - Almost a teenager, what 12 year old Stormy doesn't say in words is evident in his facial expressions. He values honesty and says that is one quality he can't compromise on when it comes to finding a forever family.
Stormy says he has only skated a few times. He is a natural athlete.
"I really like to draw. Very good. What do you like to draw? Anything interesting", Stormy told us.
Stormy believes if he is honest then people will be honest in return. He is 8th grade and does well in his classes.
"What do you want to be when you grow up? A basketball player", Stormy said.
He is a Miami Heat fan, but doesn't have a favorite player on the team. He collects baseball games and toy cars like hot wheels.
"I'm a good basketball player. I'm kind", explained Stormy.
While he is not talkative, Stormy says he is not shy and communicates his feelings many times with facial expressions. He has some attachment and behavior issues. He is also a big movie fan.
"What kind of movies do you like? Any kind really. So what was the last movie you saw? Robocop", said Stormy.
He explained why he wants to be adopted.
"I'm just tired of being in facilities", Stormy said.
Being a teenager is hard enough, Stormy is hoping he won't have to navigate difficult times without the support, patience and stability of a permanent home.
