JULIA'S FORECAST: Warmer to start with extra humidity

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Remember how crisp it was during yesterday morning's commute? Well we can say goodbye to that! We're off to a warmer start with added moisture. Humidity won't be oppressive today, but it certainly will be more noticeable. Otherwise, high temperatures should again make it towards 80 with sun and clouds.

A warm night is in store tonight as lows only dip into the upper 50s. For Wednesday, we're looking at similar warmth and humidity, and a few folks could even see some rain and thunderstorm activity. It looks like any showers and storms should generally be north of the Natchez Trace.

We're keeping a close eye on the storm threat for Thursday and Friday. Right now it looks like a late afternoon/evening arrival of activity on Thursday. Scattered storms could become strong to severe with high gusting winds.
