High water threatens Jackson streets

WEATHER ALERT: Pearl River could flood Jackson streets

Still more rain soaking the Jackson metro area. I'm Howard Ballou, back from a brief break, with a look at some of the news stories you will see on WLBT.

Hinds County Emergency Management held a press conference, this morning, regarding the status of the Pearl River, and the chances for more serious flooding.

Meanwhile, if you travel Highway 49 in the Mendenhall area, you will need to find an alternate route.  The highway is once again closed in both directions due to flooding as well as Highway 13 three miles north of Mendenhall.

Plus, Pearl Police have arrested seven women during an undercover prostitution investigation. The arrests occurred on Thursday, April 3 and you can click on this link to see who they are.
