Good Wednesday morning from MSNewsNow's Brandon Artiles!

It's 45 degrees this morning, and with several rivers across the state rising, such as the Pearl River, it's good to know we won't get any rain today. Meteorologist Julia Weiden will let us know how long we'll stay dry, in here First Alert Forecast.

Happening now, two of the 13 Jackson mayoral candidates will remain in campaign mode as they head to a runoff, following Tuesday's election. Just 10 votes separate Tony Yarber and Chokwe Antar Lumumba, and voters will make a choice between those two on April 22. Yarber and Lumumba will sit down with our Jewell Hillery live in studio to give us their reaction to last night's election results.

Plus, flooding and the threat of flooding continues to plague areas near the Pearl River, as several property owners anxiously monitor the rising river.

And, Toyota owners may need to be ready to take their cars back to the dealership.  We'll let you know why in consumer news you can use.

All of those stories and much more are heading your way.

Please join us from 5 to 7, and Mississippi News Now continues on FOX 40 from 7 to 9.

Have a great Wednesday!
