Drug deal disaster

Happy Friday morning to you from MSNewsNow's Brandon Artiles!

It's 54 degrees right now and meteorologist Julia Weiden says we have another warm and sunny day in store. She'll have a preview of what we can expect this weekend in her First Alert Forecast.

Happening now, three man await charges after a drug deal was busted by Madison County authorities in Ridgeland. A fleeing suspect almost ran over officers with his car and another suspect was shot-and-injured by police. We'll have the latest on this situation at the top of the hour.

Plus, all those web woes concerning the rocky rollout of Healthcare.gove has apparently caught up with Kathleen Sebelius. She will resign as secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services and the White House already has a successor in mind.

And, always here to make us us happy on a Friday, Julie Levanway is whipping up something Fresh From the Flame. She's cooking live in studio at 6:15.

All that and more is on the WLBT AM Report from 5 to 7.

Please join us and have a great weekend!
