He is described as strong willed, enjoys his English class because he likes writing, and comes to life on the football field. Jarveon is 9th grade and says a big goal is graduating from high school and going to college.
In his own words he tells us about his hopes and dreams for the future.
"I'm a good person. I love sports and school. I'm very competitive. What is your favorite sport? Do you have an all time favorite sport? Football. Great, do you play football? Yes mam. What position do you play? Corner. I'd like to go pro. So you'd like to play professional football? Yes mam. Which team is your favorite team? The New Orleans Saints."
"I'd like a family that's going to support me and help me with school, that's about it. If you could have one thing above anything else in the world, you just got one wish and it would be granted to you, what would that be? Is that hard? That's a lot, that's a lot. But like if I did, I would want to go pro or something at a sport. And if you went pro why would that be so important to you? To show people that I can make it you know what I'm saying. Like I wasn't just into like the street type of life, like I can do other stuff too."
