JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police captured three suspects, and all three charged with three different serious crimes in the capital city. The three men were all given bond Friday, two of them charged with murder.

Meanwhile, JPD continues looking for the person responsible for taking the life of a three year old toddler Thursday morning.

"We're looking for information to help us move that case forward," said Assistant Police Chief Lee Vance. "Right now, we have not identified any suspects, but we are working on every lead we can possibly get."

Jackson Police are still after the person responsible for shooting up this house in west Jackson and killing 3 year old Armon Burton as he lay asleep in the bed.

This is just one of the homicides that has taken place in the Capital City this month. Vance says there is no reason for this kind of violence.

"Most of the cases that we get as far as these types of incidents are concerned are absolutely senseless in origin when you start looking at what the dispute was about," said Vance.

Nineteen year old Jabari Day was killed earlier this week in the park off Clover Hill Drive. At his court appearance, 19-year-old Islam Wilson, showed no emotion. He is charged shooting Day after a fight during a basketball game. The judge gave him a 50 thousand dollar bond.

Also in court charged with murder, 19 year old Wilber Clay. Clay is accused of taking the life of 30 year old Ebony Hervey. That shooting happened on Wilshire Street May 11th. Two others were injured as bullets went flying.

thirty-six year old Eugene Christmas was given 100 thousand dollar bond. He is charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting his children's mother. Christmas allegedly held his victim hostage for a week.
