Vicksburg woman dies after head on collision

VICKSBURG, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A woman is dead after a head on collision in Vicksburg Saturday night.

According to Vicksburg Police Chief Walter Armstrong, the accident occurred on Washington Street shortly after midnight.

Warren County Coroner Dough Huskey said Krystal Foster, 26, of Vicksburg died of head trauma.

Foster was a passenger in a mini van that was traveling north.

The vehicle was driven by her husband, 27-year-old Maurice Hall.

The mini van collided with a vehicle, driven by 22-year-old Dokota West of Vicksburg, that was heading south on Washington Street.

Hall was transported to River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. His injuries are not known at this time.

West was transported to University Medical Center in Jackson with injuries. 

Armstrong said toxicology tests will be performed on both drivers.
