On Memorial Day, Americans across our great nation and citizens located all over the world will pause throughout the day to pay their respects in remembrance of all those who sacrificed and died in their service to our nation.
As we remember, let us be eternally thankful that our nation continues to produce the quality men and women who will pay any price, go to any length to secure our peace and maintain our freedom. To those who served in conflict protecting our nation, and sacrificed their dreams and aspirations to preserve the hope of our nation--keeping us the land of the free for over two hundred years--we owe our deepest thanks and our honor.
And so it is very proper that we all pause with respect and honor on Memorial Day to remember those who gave their lives as well as those who willingly serve, ready today to do the same, without question--whenever the defense of freedom calls for them to respond. We owe each of them our respect and honor and finally the solemn assurance that their commitment to our nation's freedom will never be forgotten!
