PEARL, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Pearl Police Department's Narcotic Division received information on Tuesday that Eban Carloud Siler, wanted by NCIC, was staying at the Super 8 Hotel located on Airport Road.

Officers made contact with Eban Siler in the hotel room, verified his identity, and Siler agreed to a search of his room.

During the search of the room a maroon bag was located.

Inside of the bag there was a bundle wrapped in black sports tape. Official say the substance inside the bundle was ICE (methamphetamine).

Two more bundles of ICE were reportedly found, one in each tongue of a pair of tan military combat boots.

Lt. Johnson said "that it was three pounds of ICE total, which has an estimated street value of one hundred thousand dollars."

It is believed that the narcotics were destined to be distributed in the Jackson-Metro Area and throughout the State of Mississippi according to Lt. Johnson.

Eban Siler was booked at the Pearl Police Department and transported to the Rankin County Jail with no bond at this time.
