Entergy crews worked into this evening trying to restore power to areas hit hard by morning storms.
Entergy officials say it was high winds that knocked down trees and limbs, dropping power lines.
There were over 21,000 customers without power at the peak of the storm.
They called in 155 linemen from Louisiana to assist in the power restoration process.
Entergy spokesperson Mara Hartmann says, "Our peak number was a little over 21,000 last night at the peak of the storm. We've got all our guys engaged, they're working in the hardest hit areas."
Most customers should have their power back on by morning.
