A mistrial has been declared due to a hung jury in the armed robbery trial of Lonnie Ross.
Ross was accused of robbing a pizza deliveryman at gunpoint in 2011. The jury deliberated for about six hours but has been deadlocked since Thursday afternoon, according to prosecutors.
Before leaving on Friday, each juror declared they saw no hope of the group reaching a verdict.
News Leader 9's Brittany Dionne has been following this trial. She will join us at 6 with what this means for Ross, who was facing life in prison.
