Starting Friday you can qualify to win a brand new home and without a doubt make a difference in lives.
Tickets for the St. Jude Dream Home are on sale now!
This year's St. Jude Dream Home is in Flowood's Latter Rayne subdivision.
A $100 ticket puts your name in the hat to win the home on September 21st.
The home is still under construction, but should be ready for tours by Mid-August. The $415,000 valued home includes 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths.
There's also lots of hidden character and plenty of brick throughout the house. If you're interested in buying a ticket you might want to do it sooner than later. History indicates that the early bird catches the worm.
"It seems like the last six years that I've been a part of the project that the first month really is when the winner is pulled out and last year the very first day she bought a ticket and didn't even know where the house was just bought it out of the goodness of her heart," said Brian Burkley of Deep South Custom Homes.
Flowood Mayor Gary Rhoads will buy a dream home ticket at 10:30 Friday morning at the Regions Bank at Dogwood in Flowood.
You can start buying tickets, which cost $100 now by calling 1-800-371-6789 or by going to a Regions Bank or Ross Furniture. Also, feel free to go online to dreamhome.org.
If you buy your ticket by July 4th you qualify to win $1,000 for gas. A purchase made by August 8th puts you in the running for free groceries for one year.
