Adams County deputies have arrested a burglary suspect after a short chase. Frank Washington is facing multiple charges.
Early on the morning of July 3, deputies were sent to Booker Road for a possible prowler or burglary in progress. When they arrived they spotted a maroon Thunderbird in the parking lot of Morgantown Middle School
The driver sped off when deputies made contact with him. They pursued the suspect until he ran off the road and crashed into a mailbox.
The suspect bailed out of the vehicle and continued on foot, but didn't get far. He was captured behind the Community Chapel Church.
Ten cars had been burglarized in the area and all were unlocked. Frank Washington was charged with burglary, resisting arrest, fleeing a law enforcement vehicle, driving with a suspended license and no insurance. It was Washington's fourth arrest for burglary since 2009.
