Using bright colors and fun designs to spark creativity in the classroom, Yoobi makes learning fun while also giving back. For every Yoobi item purchased, the company distributes an item to a classroom in need, right here in the U.S. With the help of the Kids In Need Foundation, a national nonprofit, Yoobi will donate supplies to over 30,000 classrooms by 2015, impacting the lives of over 750,000 kids.

Ninety-nine percent of teachers in the U.S. purchase materials for their classrooms out of their own pockets, spending almost $500 on average, and totaling a staggering $1.6 billion a year. With many parents struggling to afford the average $635 spent on school supplies each year, a lack of access to fundamental learning tools is a national issue. To combat this, for every Yoobi item purchased, Yoobi contributes an item to a Classroom Pack. Each pack contains hundreds of essential school supplies, enough to last a classroom of thirty an entire year. The Kids In Need Foundation, Yoobi's non-profit partner, identified U.S. schools with students who have the greatest need for school supplies to receive the Classroom Packs. Yoobi and the Kids In Need Foundation will initially focus on distributing Classroom Packs to the youngest students, K-3rd grade classrooms, because ensuring access to supplies at an early age has the most impact on academic potential.
