Two men suspected in a gang rape of a woman at a Shell Gas station turned themselves into police on Saturday.
According to the Jackson Police Department, the incident allegedly occurred Friday, July 18 when the woman stopped at the gas station located at 455 Daniel Lake Blvd.
Ja'Lon Jones, 20, and Edward Samuel, 18, both turned themselves into police at JPD Headquarters after video surveillance was shown.
Jones is being charged with sexual battery and accessory after the fact to armed robbery of an individual.
Authorities said Samuel is being charged with sexual battery.
A warrant for the arrest of Marquise Samuel, who was also identified through video surveillance, will be issued.
Samuel is being charged with rape and armed robbery. He is presently in the Hinds County Detention Center in Raymond on unrelated charges.
