Here we go again... time to kick off the work week! It's a muggy morning. We're starting off with dewpoints in the low 70s, which indicates that there is a lot of moisture in the air. There aren't any showers around just yet, but that will change in the afternoon.
Expect a mix of sun and clouds through much of the afternoon. Things will heat up to seasonable levels, with high temperatures reaching the low 90s this afternoon. The warmth should help trigger off spotty to scattered rain and thunderstorms during the mid afternoon. Severe storms are possible, although the threat is limited.
Once the sun sets (7:55pm) and we lose the heating of the day, the skies should become more tame. Expect partly cloudy skies overnight and lows in the low 70s with a lot of humidity. Tuesday will be similar with highs in the low 90s and the threat for some PM t-storms.
