STARKVILLE, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Gordon Ramsay, the host of FOX's Hotel Hell, traveled to Starkville to The Hotel Chester, which is located right outside of Mississippi State University.

The hotel, which was built in 1925, was bought by David and Sukie Mollendor in 2000.

After they took over, the Hotel Chester became a thriving business. When they first bought the hotel, the Mollendors said it was a mess, and nothing worked, so they made several repairs.

It took over 2 years to renovate and they've continued to make improvements each year.

The hotel was doing well, until a tragic car accident left owner, David, temporarily bedridden and unable to tend to the hotel.

The hotel has since fallen apart, and the family's financial struggles have forced the couple to file for bankruptcy.

When the bank foreclosed on their home, the Mollendors moved into the hotel and Sukie took charge of the kitchen without any prior cooking experience.

On the brink of giving up, the business is in desperate need of change.

Will Ramsay be able to get this hotel thriving again, or will David and Sukie lose the only thing that they have left?

Find out in the all-new "Hotel Chester" episode of HOTEL HELL airing Monday, Aug. 11 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
