Hazlehurst police arrested a man following a Wednesday night high speed chase that ended in Hinds County.
Chief Byron Swilley says 22-year-old Miketwon Jordan entered the Circle K demanding money.
He says Swilley didn't show a weapon or note, and the clerk denied Jordan any money.
Hazelhurst Police initiated a pursuit with the driver of this SUV after he left the store.
That chase lasted for several miles, until the driver ran the vehicle into a ditch near Terry High School.
Jordan was taken to a local hospital for his injuries.
He is in police custody charged with robbery, felony fleeing, and other traffic violations.
