When we first met this week's Wednesday's Child he was about to celebrate his 14th birthday in 2012. Justin is now 16 and has some of the same dreams including  being adopted.

Justin is still focused on finishing high school and continuing his education. He is now expressing an interest in working on a Ph.d  in microbiology to pursue a career with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He also has other interests.

Justin said, "poetry, I love to write and other than that it's just soccer. I play soccer, a goalie. Expert  goalie."

One thing Justin asked to see at the Natural Science Museum, up close and personal, was a snake.

Justin told us, "it looks like a little Chicken Snake."  Museum Handler said, "Ok  this one's a Speckled King Snake."

He has been playing drums since 6th grade.  He explained why he likes playing drums so much.

Justin said, "Bass drum you're the heart beat. Like whatever you do the snares have to listen to you so they can play. The clarinets have to listen to you, the saxophones, the trumpets, the trombones, the sousaphone, so you get all that pressure, but you are also the center of attention so you just go with it."

Adoption workers say Justin would do well in a two parent household.  They also say he does best with one on one interaction.

Justin said, "church going, just love me for who I am, what I want to do, don't give me a lot of freedom, make me earn my freedom, like someone that wants to do things with sports, someone that wants me to do music, wants me to do good..All the right reasons."
