GRENADA, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

All three suspects are in custody in a Friday afternoon bank robbery in Grenada. The third suspect was captured late this evening. The Regions Bank on Sunset Drive was robbed shortly after 1 p.m.

Two suspects were apprehended around 2 p.m. near a trailer off Cecil Shelton Drive. The Grenada Star reports that the third suspect was in custody at 7:30 p.m.

During the robbery, police were responding to a bomb threat at the Grenada School District.

Superintendent Dr. David Daigneault says someone called in a threat to the police department.
"The threat was directed at the elementary schools, but we evacuated the upper grades as a precaution," said Daigneault.

After lunch, hundreds of children, from middle school through seniors, either sat in the stands at the football field or waited outside their schools. Around 1:30 p.m., officials deemed that the bomb threat was false and the building was safe to enter. Students then returned to classes.

Police aren't saying if the bomb threat is connected to the bank robbery.
