CLINTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Clinton police are looking for 2 suspects in an armed robbery of the Copiah Bank, at 767 Clinton Parkway. Police Chief Michael Warren says around 4:15 two men entered into this bank, with guns and masks demanding money.

The men escaped with an unknown amount of cash. They left in a SUV, but police were unable to get a description of that car so they are asking for help identifying the two men.

"No one was hurt, no one was injured in the robbery," said Chief Warren. "if anybody can assist us or may recognize the individuals in these photographs please call the Clinton Police Department or Crime stoppers."

Clinton Police have released the attached surveillance photos of the suspects and a photo of the alleged getaway car. Chief Warren says this isn't the first time the bank was robbed.

"This bank has been robbed before it's been a number of years I can't confirm how many and those suspects were caught and we have every confidence that these suspects are going to be caught too," Chief Warren said.

There was no customer inside of the bank during the robbery. The employees who were working were not injured.
