JULIA'S FORECAST: When will relief arrive?!

JACKSON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Good Wednesday AM!

It's going to be hot. And humid. AGAIN. Our stagnant summer-like pattern continues through today. Expect highs in the low 90s, heat indices in the upper 90s, and sun with building clouds. The occasional pop up storm is possible, but unlikely for most.

We do have changes ahead! Starting tomorrow, rain and storms will become scattered, and will impact more of us. Still though, we'll be dealing with plenty of warmth and humidity with highs in the low 90s. The activity is the result of a passing cold front.

The front itself should work through early Friday morning. We'll continue to see scattered rain and thunder on Friday afternoon. It will take some time before we'll feel the effects of cooler air moving in. Friday's highs should top out in the mid to high 80s. By Saturday, humidity will be much lower and the temps will only rise to the mid 80s. Looks like a gorgeous weekend!
