JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

We obtained exclusive video of thieves, caught red-handed, stealing a number of items from a Jackson home. Three people remain behind bars, two of them charged with receiving and being in possession of a stolen a car.

The video reveals a house burglary caught on a home security camera. The first man leaves with a safe in his hands, the other two men follow, stealing a 2008 Lexus. That Lexus was later found by Jackson Police in the Red Roof Inn parking lot just off High Street in Jackson.

Police captured 21 year old Aaron James Aaron, 19 year old Jewell Perry and a juvenile whose name is not being released. The trio was found inside a Red Roof Inn motel Wednesday night.

The motel security officer, who did not want his identity on camera, says the three men tried to get rid of the Lexus car keys seconds before police busted in.

"They were trying to flush the keys down the toilet and they were successful doing it," said the security guard.

That caused more than 500 dollars worth of damage to the motel toilet.

The arrests stemmed from the burglary that happened at a home on Meadowbrook Road in Jackson. The homeowner says he got his car back, and his safe. The safe was found in a wooded area off Clinton Circle in Jackson.

The two adults arrested are charged with receiving and being in possession of stolen property.
Information about the juvenile arrested in the case is not being released.

The Red Roof Inn security officer says a handgun was also found in the motel.
