Mother of 11 adopted children gets new home

She has been called a pillar of the community and now she has a new home, thanks to the kindness of admirers, after Ms. Johnnie Johnson's house burned.

A Brandon Daycare teacher has been fired and now the center has sent a letter to parents explaining how a 3-year-old was able to wander away earlier this week.

Plus, the City of Brandon is implementing a four-day, ten-hour work week for 14 public works employees in the areas of streets, sanitation, and drainage.

And in national news, Attorney General Eric Holder, one of the longest serving and last original members of President Barack Obama's cabinet, is resigning, but will stay in his position until a successor is found, Obama announced today.

In sports, the 2015 induction class of the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame has been announced.
