Armed & dangerous

Good morning from MSNewsNow's Brandon Artiles and happy Friday!

We're starting the day at 64 degrees and while it's pleasant now our weather will be transitioning over the next few days. Meteorologist Julia Weiden will let us know exactly what we can expect in her First Alert Forecast. Also, for the football player, cheerleaders and fans out there Julia will walk us through tonight's Friday Nite Lites forecast.

Happening now, Pearl Police and law enforcement in the metro are pursuing to suspects. One of the suspects is considered armed-and-dangerous. We'll let you know why authorities are on their trail, coming up on the WLBT AM Report at 5.

Plus, President Obama's cabinet goes through more turnover as Eric Holder resigns as the nation's top law official.

And, city crews in Jackson have been working round the clock to fix a water main break in the heart of downtown. Jewell Hillery will join us live from the impacted area, near the McCoy Federal Building, to let us know how repairs are coming along.

All of those stories and more are heading your way.

Please join us from 5 to 7, and Mississippi News Now continues on Fox 40 from 7 to 9.

Have a great Friday and a better weekend!
