JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Three days after a rabbi says he was thrown out of a Jackson restaurant, he sat down with the owner to resolve their differences.

It started when Rabbi Ted Riter said he went to Wraps earlier this week and was verbally accosted by the owner. When he ordered a salad, Rabbi Riter says he was asked if he wanted the "Jewish size," then was insulted repeatedly by the owner with several anti-Semitic remarks.

Owner John Allis says he hopes they can now move forward.

"We had a good meeting with the gentleman, the Rabbi, Ted," said Allis. "We see eye to eye. Hopefully we can be friends in the future. I wish him Happy New Year, Jewish New Year."

Allis says he's gotten several hateful calls since the incident took place, with people saying they plan to boycott his restaurant.
