METAIRIE, La. (AP) - The New Orleans Saints have listed center Jonathan Goodwin as questionable for Sunday night's game in Dallas, raising the prospect that second-year pro Tim Lelito will start at center for the first time.
Goodwin injured his left ankle during the second half of New Orleans' 20-9 victory over Minnesota last Sunday. He was replaced with 6 minutes left in the third quarter by Lelito.
Goodwin did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday and was limited in Friday's practice.
Coach Sean Payton says Lelito is ready, if needed, after taking first-team snaps for much of the preseason and playing well during a pair of productive fourth quarter drives last week.
The Saints have also ruled out running back Mark Ingram (hand), fullback Erik Lorig (ankle) and safety Marcus Ball (hamstring).
