ESPN to go all-access with Mississippi State

STARKVILLE (HailState.com) – The center of the college football universe takes aim on the state of Mississippi this weekend. ESPN will devote all-access segments to the Mississippi State football team on the network's platforms throughout Thursday to preview the 12th-ranked Bulldogs' highly-anticipated matchup with No. 6 Texas A&M.

MSU (4-0) and the Aggies (5-0) kick off at 11 a.m. CT Saturday on ESPN in Davis Wade Stadium. The contest is just the second of two top-15 teams facing off in Scott Field history. The other occurred on Oct. 25, 1986 when No. 13 MSU played No. 7 Auburn.

Tickets still remain for the undefeated, top-15 matchup in Davis Wade Stadium at HailState.com/Tickets, by calling 1-888-GO-DAWGS or in person on the first floor at the Bryan Athletic Administration Building.

Thursday's all-access interviews and live look-ins will be conducted by Kaylee Hartung. Head coach Dan Mullen's arrival to the facility and an interview with him in his office will take place during the 8 a.m. CT hour. It airs on ESPN SportsCenter.

Hartung is also scheduled to interview Davey O'Brien and Maxwell Award watch list candidate Dak Prescott from the Bulldogs' state-of-the-art weight room during the 10 a.m. CT hour on SportsCenter. Prescott is the national leader in 200-yard passing/100-yard rushing games having done it in three straight contests dating back to the UAB win.

During the noon CT hour, the network takes a live look in to the defensive staff room and will interview defensive coordinator Geoff Collins. Collins' ‘psycho' defense ranks in the top 10 nationally in four categories, including tops in redzone defense. Opponents have managed only two touchdowns in nine trips inside the 20-yard line this season.

ESPNews will show the Bulldogs' preparing for practice, getting taped in the training room and interview a few players at approximately 2:45 p.m. ESPNews will also mic Mullen up at practice at approximately 4 p.m.

SportsCenter airs from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN and can also be found on ESPNNews and WatchESPN.com. College Football Live featuring several MSU segments airs at 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN and then again at 3 p.m. on ESPNU. The content will be available on-demand on ESPN.com. Several of the segments will air on the SEC Network during SEC Now from 8-9 p.m. Thursday.

SEC Nation, the SEC Network's traveling college football morning show, will originate from the Junction beginning at 9 a.m. CT Saturday. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and wear maroon.

The network will tape and show live segments at the Junction Friday and fans are encouraged to attend. Mullen makes an appearance on the set at approximately 12:10 p.m. Friday for an interview that will be shown live on ESPN SportsCenter. SEC Network personalities will film segments at 11:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. as well.
