Metro area high school bands score high at competition

 Several metro area high school bands scored well Saturday at the Copiah Marching Band Festival in Gallman.

Saturday was the 37th Annual Copiah Marching Band Festival and 27 high school marching bands competed.

Hillcrest Christian's band received first place, followed by Ridgeland High School with second place. Murrah and Brandon High Schools received third and fourth places respectively and Neshoba Central High's band was awarded fifth place.

Congratulations to all of the winners in this year's competition.
