JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

How much are you willing to pay to watch your football team play?

Some Mississippi State Bulldogs and Auburn Tigers are willing to cough up some pretty big bucks to attend the game this weekend.

According to, other than the Iron Bowl, the game against the Bulldogs is likely the biggest game remaining on the Auburn football schedule.

Forbes reports that the average ticket price for the game is $231 - almost double the last game when the two schools played in Starkville.

Forbes also says that this game will mark the most expensive game at Davis Wade Stadium this season, as well as the past four years.

We did a little research of our own.

We checked out StubHub for ticket prices and found that the average ticket is going to $248. And that's just for decent seats.

Just to sit way up in the clouds on MSU's upper level you're guaranteed to be paying between $248 and $411.

Lower sideline tickets are going anywhere from $297 to a whopping $763. That's way more than season ticket holders paid for their 7 game seats.

Vivid Seats shows similar prices for this weekend's game.

The upper sideline seats are listed between $210 and $312, while lower level seats are between $403 and $437.

Or you can buy standing room only tickets for about $180 or more.

If this game is anything like the games Mississippi saw last weekend, you'll be standing the whole time anyway.

Are these tickets worth the price? I guess that depends if State can keep their streak going.
