Airport screening begins

More Ebola screening to begin at five US airports

A warm "hump day" Wednesday afternoon in the Jackson metro area. I'm Howard Ballou with a look at some of the news stories you will see on WLBT.

The government will begin taking the temperatures of travelers from West Africa arriving at five U.S. airports as part of a stepped-up response to the Ebola epidemic.

Meanwhile, Thomas Eric Duncan, the Ebola patient who had recently flown from Liberia to the U.S., has died in a Dallas hospital.

Also, firefighters have brought a blaze under control at the Harrell and Rester law office in downtown Brandon.

 And, a Madison doctor and his wife have been arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

In sports, MSU quarterback, Dak Prescott, comments on the upcoming football battle with Auburn.
